What medical treatment/purpose does the route cover and which applicant role does it address: patient, donor or another medical purpose?

The purpose evidence includes a host medical-facility statement and, for the accompanying applicant, an official document proving the relationship to the patient.

How must treatment costs, living costs and insurance be demonstrated?

The applicant must show lawful resources for maintenance, accommodation, healthcare and return or onward travel. Comprehensive healthcare coverage or resources to cover healthcare costs must be documented.

The medical-purpose grant follows treatment length, capped at two years, with extensions capped at two years each. Extensions require the stated residence history and filing at least 30 days before expiry.
