Which non-member-country family members can accompany or join, and what broad rights do they receive?

A CARICOM national who has exercised the right of establishment or the provision of services has the right for their spouse and immediate dependent family members to move with or join them in Guyana, and to leave and re-enter Guyana without seeking further permission, according to the CARICOM Secretariat's CSME Free Movement, Travel and Work guide (3rd Edition). The spouse specifically has the right to work in Guyana without needing to obtain a separate work permit.

When do permanent/long-term rights arise and what continuity, absence or retention conditions matter?

Under the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) treaty regime, which binds Guyana as a member state, immigration grants the service provider on entry sufficient time to complete the service, but no less than six months in the first instance; if the service is not finished in that time, an extension must be requested from the Immigration Department, which must grant it automatically (unless narrow treaty grounds to refuse apply) within no more than ten working days, on proof the service is not yet complete. The Certificate of Registration as a CARICOM Service Provider has no expiry.
