What achievements, recognition, awards, publications, reputation or other evidence establishes the required level?

No achievements or awards are required. The evidence is a certificate, shown to the consulate, that the person is accredited with the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Is an employer, nominator, recognised body, peer group or government endorsement required?

Yes: government accreditation. The correspondent must be accredited with the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or have accreditation in progress.

Can the holder change employer, work independently, establish a business or conduct other professional activity? What is the family position?

Family members may accompany the correspondent and receive, on application, their own residence permits expiring with the sponsor's. Other professional activity, changing employer or self-employment are not addressed.

    Οι ανωτέρω πολίτες τρίτης χώρας μπορούν να συνοδεύονται και από τα μέλη της οικογένειάς τους, στα οποία χορηγείται, ύστε- ρα από αίτησή τους, ατομική άδεια διαμονής, που λήγει ταυτόχρονα με την άδεια διαμονής του συντηρούντος.

    Η άδεια διαμονής χορηγείται με απόφαση του Γραμματέα της Αποκεντρωμένης Διοίκησης και η ισχύς της είναι τριετής ή ίσης διάρκειας με την προβλεπόμενη περίοδο διαμονής στη χώρα, εφόσον αυτή είναι βραχύτερη και ανανεώνεται ανά τριετία, εφόσον οι ενδιαφερόμενοι εξακολουθούν να παρέχουν τις υπηρεσίες τους.
