What funds, insurance, onward travel or similar preparation is particularly important?
Before arrival, applicants need a departure ticket or enough money to leave, proof of sufficient funds for the start of the stay, and full health insurance for the whole stay (medical repatriation, urgent care, emergency hospital treatment, death), shown before the visa is issued; a criminal record and a medical certificate must also be given to the Greek consulate.
