Applicants must present a recent passport-sized photograph, a passport valid for at least six months from the intended entry date, a copy of the IMV foreign investor employee visa (recently or last extended) or residence ID, an authenticated birth certificate for under-age applicants and an authenticated marriage certificate. Validity starts from the intended entry date; a multiple-entry 90-day IMV is listed. An extension can be requested before expiry at the ICS Head Office in Addis Ababa; overstaying is subject to fines and legal penalties.
