How long is the status granted, what is required for renewal, what physical-presence obligations matter, and what longer-term residence direction exists?

Granted for one year with multiple entry. The status is lost if absent more than six consecutive months (or six months in intervals in one calendar year) unless justified; temporary residents must spend at least 90 days a year in the country. Renewal is requested within 30 days before expiry. After one year as a rentier, the holder can apply for definitive residence.
