What absence/continuity rules affect accumulation of the qualifying residence period?

For continuity of the qualifying residence, the foreign national may not be absent from Ecuador for more than 90 days during the whole validity of the temporary residence visa. A temporary resident who changes activity, employer or sponsor in a way that affects the basis of the visa has 30 working days (término) to apply for a new temporary residence visa matching the new activity, in order to keep the continuous period.
