Which types of income/assets are accepted according to the official source?

A pension or retirement income, certified by the foreign government, official body or foreign private company where the applicant worked (stating time served, position and pension amount). Salary income never counts. A letter from a Dominican bank showing an account is also required.

What income, savings or financial-resources threshold applies and how does family affect it where officially specified?

Minimum pension of US$1,500 per month (or the equivalent in Dominican pesos), plus US$250 for each direct dependant included in the application.
