What exact activity, role or purpose qualifies?
The volunteer route is for unpaid social or humanitarian work in Denmark, including activities supporting vulnerable people or children and young people. Applicants must be 18 to 30 when applying and participate full time, stated as 37 hours weekly. Ordinary salaried work and work preparing humanitarian activity abroad do not qualify.

If you will be doing voluntary, unpaid work of a social or humanitarian character, you can be granted a permit to stay and work as a volunteer in Denmark.
