The conditions that decide it
  • Certified employer requirementIt is a requirement that your employer is certified by the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI).
  • Employer or host requirementIf you are applying for a permit via this track, your employer must describe the educational purpose of your stay.
  • Employment terms requirementYour terms of employment, such as your holiday entitlements, terms of notice, etc. must not be inferior to the standards within the professional field in which you are going to work.
  • Job offerYou have been offered employment in a certified company.
  • Minimum salaryThe salary that you have been offered must not be less than the standard within the professional field in which you are going to work.
  • Qualifying basisIf you are a highly qualified foreign national with significant work experience within a certain professional field, the educational track is of relevance to you
  • Study-programme requirementthe purpose of your stay in Denmark is to receive highly qualified training in the certified company
  • Working-hours requirementIt is a condition that you work full time. As a rule, this mean 37-40 working hours a week.
  • Professional authorisation requirementIn some instances, it is required that you have a Danish authorisation or a temporary authorisation for employment for adaption and training purposes before you can be granted a residence and work permit.
