What family, citizenship, ethnic, historical or former-resident connection creates access to this route?

The LTU article 1 lists Dutch nationals born in Curaçao; Dutch nationals born in Aruba before 1 January 1986 with the specified 1986 Netherlands Antilles and 2010 Curaçao residence; Dutch nationals born before 10 October 2010 in Bonaire, Saba, Sint Eustatius or Sint Maarten and resident in Curaçao on that date; and their children. The current immigration page lists the same general classes but omits Saba and says Curaçao-born persons have held Dutch nationality since birth, a qualification not expressed in the cited article 1(a).

How far back can the qualifying connection extend, and what important transmission limitations exist?

The published derivative class is the children of persons in the three listed birth, Dutch-nationality and historical-residence categories. For these children, the checklist requires proof of the qualifying parent’s nationality and a copy of that parent’s passport; adoption has an additional adoption-register record.

Does the pathway result in a visa, residence permit, right of return, citizenship or another status?

The result is a Declaration Niet van Toepassing. Article 1 LTU says the ordinance does not apply to the listed people except its articles 22 through 25. The declaration records that statutory position; the current portal’s shorter description does not remove those express exceptions.
