Is this for a founder, startup entrepreneur, self-employed person, freelancer, company owner or another business profile?

A person who starts up their own company in Curaçao and is admitted by operation of law: Dutch nationals and, following a 15 December 2014 Common Court ruling, Americans, whose admission equals that of Dutch nationals.

The Admission Office says it has four months after submission to decide and then issues collection instructions after a positive decision. The cited current page does not set a fixed validity or renewal period for this declaration; statutory admission by operation of law ends when its underlying reason ends, with additional loss grounds for an article 3(f) Dutch-national holder who ceases to have housing and sufficient means.
