The handbook's work-permit rule ('Foreigners wishing to work must also apply for a work permit and foreign employment card') sits inside the E-CLASS row, so it describes the ordinary business visa route and cannot be read onto the C visa.

Length of stay is 3 months, single entry only, on a visa valid for 3 months from the date of issue, with a processing time of 15 business days. The MFAIC states the visa is issued to non-immigrant foreigners and their family members, so family members are within its scope.
