Which family members can be included where officially stated, and what broad residence/work rights result?
Under Visa Policy-2026, dependent family members of a PI (Private Investor) visa holder are admitted under the FPI category: spouse, children, adopted children and dependent family members of the principal, defined as spouse, parents, children and adopted children. The FPI visa and its extension are coterminous with the PI visa, which is issued for up to 1 year with multiple entry and is extendable up to 5 years or the validity of the work permit. Employment in Bangladesh is prohibited for FPI holders, and non-compliance may lead to cancellation of the visa.
