For the relevant traveller scope, is a visa, electronic authorisation, visa on arrival or no advance visa normally required?
All non-citizens need a visa or permission to enter Australia. The Business Visitor stream of the Visitor visa (subclass 600) is a visa for visiting Australia for business reasons, and the applicant must be outside Australia when applying and when the application is decided. A holder of an Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Business Travel Card might not need to apply for a visa, because the department considers them to have applied for a Visitor visa when they applied for the card.
