Application is made in person, by the foreign national or their authorized representative, at the Migration and Citizenship Service office at 14 Tairov Street after booking an appointment in advance, which can be made online; the permanent residence card is issued within 30 days of the application (a period that may be extended by a further 30 days) for a period of 5 years with the possibility of extension. The fee for permanent residence status is AMD 140,000; the Armenian-language version of the official page states this fee for permanent residence status, while the English version labels the same paragraph as temporary residence status. The official source does not state the rights the status gives or a route from it to Armenian citizenship.
