For the relevant traveller scope, is a visa, electronic authorisation, visa on arrival or no advance visa normally required?
The e-Visa is for any holder of a travel document that requires a visa to enter Antigua and Barbuda; a traveller who does not want to apply for an e-Visa cannot get a visa on arrival instead, and arriving without a visa makes the person an undocumented traveller who can be fined or refused entry. Citizens of countries that do not require a visa may enter on holiday or business without one. Cruise ship visitors who would normally require a visa do not need one if they arrive in the morning and depart the same day, and same-day transit passengers who would normally require a visa do not need one if they have proof of their onward journey and do not leave the controlled space of the airport.

No. Arriving without a visa constitutes an undocumented traveler. You can be fined or refuse entry into Antigua and Barbuda.

Kindly note that citizens of countries that DO NOT REQUIRE A VISA for entry into Antigua and Barbuda on holiday or business, are permitted to stay as long as their business takes, provided that:

‘Intransit’ passengers traveling within the same day (24 hours), who normally require a visa, do not need a visa for entry into Antigua and Barbuda, provided that they have proof of their onward journey, and they do not leave the ‘controlled space’ of the airport.
