Which remote workers qualify: foreign employees, freelancers, company owners or other remote professionals?

The D.3 digital nomad residence is open to any newly arrived person whose work does not require a specific geographic location and who uses telecommunications and technology to perform it. The applicant must first obtain a favourable decision from the ministry responsible for the economy recognising them as such a remote worker, must fit within the quota set by regulation, and must establish main and effective residence in Andorra for at least 90 days per calendar year.

Dependants of the holder or of their spouse or stable partner are recognised in the means and insurance conditions, and the holder must sign, for themselves and for the people on whose behalf residence is requested, a commitment to keep main and effective residence in Andorra for at least 90 days per calendar year and to keep the insurance contract in force.
