For a US national acting as a company representative under the Dutch-American Friendship Treaty.

For a director or sole proprietor establishing or operating a business in the Caribbean Netherlands.

For a Dutch or US national undertaking an internship lasting more than 90 days in a 365-day period.

For a foreign student accepted into full-time higher education in the Caribbean Netherlands with sufficient maintenance and tuition funds.

For an adopted child or foreign foster child joining a legal resident, with adoption, custody and sponsor evidence.

For another qualifying family member joining a legal resident under the extended-family purpose.

For a minor child joining a legally resident parent in Bonaire, Sint Eustatius or Saba.

For a spouse, registered partner or qualifying unmarried partner joining a legal resident of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius or Saba.

For a foreign applicant able to support themselves from interest or other independent resources.

For a pensioner or winter resident with sufficient recurring resources and local accommodation.

For an existing resident applying under the official continued-residence purpose.

For a foreign national with five years of uninterrupted lawful fixed-term residence in the Caribbean Netherlands.

For a Dutch or US national residing beyond the free tourist period or working or interning beyond 90 days.

For a foreign volunteer placed with a qualifying organisation and holding any required work permit.

For a Dutch or US national visiting the Caribbean Netherlands for up to 180 days in a 365-day period.

For other foreign tourists admitted for up to 90 days in a 180-day period, subject to visa nationality and border conditions.

For a victim of trafficking or qualifying witness-informant identified under the official residence purpose.

For a person in one of the five statutory birth, parentage and island-connection categories outside the ordinary admission requirement.

For a qualifying former Dutch national or former resident returning to the Caribbean Netherlands.
